He has held roles ranging from Fishing Tool Supervisor at Deltide Fishing and Rental to Company Owner/President of Rattler Tools, building a legacy of leadership on his path to his current role at Dynasty Energy Services. As the Vice President of Research and Development at Dynasty Energy Services, Dave combines his deep technical knowledge with a passion for innovation. holding over 30 patents for groundbreaking surface and downhole service tools and equipment. His inventions, including cutting-edge section milling technologies, have revolutionized oilfield operations globally. With over five decades of unparalleled expertise in the oil and gas industry, Dave Ruttley is a visionary leader and innovator.

Director of Data Systems & Quality Implementation

Mark Lentz brings over 14 years of operations experience in Drilling, Applications Engineering, and Plug and Abandonment operations to his leadership role at Dynasty Energy Services. With advanced degrees in physics and mathematics and a background heavy in computer modeling, Mark supports all departments with technical expertise and strategic leadership.

Since joining Dynasty, Mark has continued to play a key role in revolutionizing section milling operations by implementing a data-driven approach combined with proven techniques utilized in drilling operations and system optimization. He built an integrated data infrastructure, KPI dashboards, and reporting systems that connect field operations to enterprise leadership, developed custom hydraulics software and field optimization tools, and designed Dynasty’s API Q2-aligned Quality Management System. Mark serves as the technical lead for the company’s technology infrastructure and maintains the systems that keep operations running daily—from M365 and SharePoint to field tablets, Data Silos, CRM platforms, and custom analytics solutions.

A continuous learner, Mark holds certifications in AI and actively explores emerging technologies as a personal passion, applying AI and automation to solve real-world operational challenges. He founded and directs Dynasty’s Engineering Internship Program and serves as a keynote speaker and technical advisor to major operators on data-driven performance strategies.

Mark’s hands-on approach identifies what’s needed, builds it, and delivers measurable results across the organization.

Vice President of Operations

With over 45 years of operational experience, Thomas Wyant Sr. is a seasoned expert in the oil and gas industry. His career began with hands-on roles as a driller and tool pusher, evolving into a distinguished 30-year tenure specializing in downhole fishing and operations technical advisement. His expertise spans fishing, completions, well abandonment, and projects across land, shelf, and deepwater environments. Thomas has held key managerial positions, including District Manager and Regional Manager, where he demonstrated strong leadership and operational excellence. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with some of the industry’s most respected organizations, including Knight Oil Tools, Deltide, and Fishing Tools Inc. Thomas is known for his deep technical knowledge, commitment to innovation, and dedication to achieving outstanding results in every project he undertakes.
