The Predator section milling technology was developed to meet the need to mitigate sustained casing pressure, provide the best environment for barrier placement and save cost through less rig time by saving trips in the well.
The Predator enables stabilized multiple string section mill-ing while ensuring no harm to outer casing stings regardless of casing eccentricities. Patents issued and/or pending both foreign and domestic.

- Tool designs for casing sizes 7” thru 30”
- Single, dual, and triple string section milling, pilot milling, burnishing casing IDs or underreaming to exact requirements
- Selective single string casing cuts with no damage to outer casing strings
- Bi-directional (upward and downward) single and multi-string milling
- Entry thru reduced IDs, such as wellhead restriction or collapsed casing
- Designed for long windows in excess of 300’
- Overall short BHA length as compared to traditional section milling BHAs
- Flow thru jetting capability allows circulation thru entire tool ID to assist in swarf / cement removal
- High tensile strength components and connections
- Engineered for high ROP with light weight on bit, low torque, and high
RPM - Exclusive (MBS) Modular blade System. Change blades on location to cut out, mill, underream, or burnish casing ID
- Patented (SEL) Sweep Expansion Limiter
- Adjust and limit sweep of cutting blades
- Minimizes later force applied to outer casing while milling
- Eliminates tool oscillation and stabilizer drift
